Summer League Tournament

When: Saturday August 16, 2008 : 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Kansas City Ultimate always ends it's Summer League with a killer Tournament, and this year is no different.

We will have a full day of ultimate, food, fun and beverages! It's gonna be a total blast!!!

Specifics

• Unfortunately, we were unable to secure the normal playing fields for the tournament due to a pre-scheduled soccer tournament. Thus, the tourney will take place on the fields right next store (aka the practice fields). They are still nice and will do us just fine (plus we'll have our own shaded structure for the event which will come in quite handy for the BBQ lunch and afternoon entertainment).

• Please park in the smaller parking lot near the practice fields. There is a lot of shade in this parking lot.
  
  
• Captains meeting is at 8:30am at Frisbee Central (the shaded structure). Games will start promptly at 9:15am so get there early to warm up.
  
  
• A & E Dairy will be providing yogurt, milk and lemonade in the morning, as well as bananas, oranges and grapes (and hopefully bagels).
  
  
• There will be a catered BBQ lunch in the afternoon provided by none other than or own Lisbeth Springer.
  
  
• New Belgium will be providing 2 kegs of Skinny Dip beer.
  
  
• John Brewer of Organic Proof will be providing music in the afternoon for 2 hours @ Frisbee Central.
